it's just Me, Shyn

It was January 28, 2012, around 3 in the afternoon when Kenn Pantua my high school friend and classmate was texting me, he said he wanted to call me about something. So by 5 PM, Kenn called me. So, he asked me first if I am available on February 11; I was quite hesitant at first since on that day were suppose to prepare for our cultural presentation, but Kenn told me that the event is at night and he popped the question if I could be his “drag” or partner for that event (which he says is a prom-ish event of MAAP). I was really surprised and shocked that he asked me. I was so happy and even excited as early as that. Oh my! 

Anyways, I quite problematic about my outfit then and I was really planning to go UKAY and buy. So on February 6, 2012, I went to Anonas to go ukay!! hehe and this is the dress that I bought… 

It is so cheap and really cute! I mean ukay is love! <3 haha

So, on February 11, 2012.. I woke up around 6am maybe because of so much anticipation, and I left UP Diliman around 9 am to go to Pasay where the terminal is located. I was a bit worried though cause I got on a bus that does not go directly to Mariveles, so the bus operator told that I have to transfer bus somewhere in Lubao, Pampanga.

It was a quite smooth trip but the bus was really full and there are people who are standing. And that’s reason why I was not able to take photos of my travel time. hehe ^^ So, the bus did drop me off in Lubao Terminal where I got on another bus which goes directly to Mariveles. It was long trip and I was a bit worried because I was thinking that I’m lost. hihihi BUT I’m NOT! haha around 1500H I got so worried why it took me so long to be in MAAP, and by that time as well, I got a text from Kenn, but poof! there’s the junction (place where MAAP cadets get their rides going to the campus) HAHAHA 

I waited a bit for Kenn, since he came from somewhere near the town. And by 1500H and 15 minutes, were already in MAAP!!!

SUPER LOVED IT!! It was really a nice place. So, Kenn gave me a little tour around MAAP, our first stop is this..

It’s building but I forgot the real term for that Kenn mentioned it to me! haha it has a very nice view and really beautiful and SUPER WINDY! hahaha

Our next time is like a prototype of a ship which is really a small version it has machines which is used usually for training and class. It also has a control room of a ship. Super cool!

I got a bouquet for winning an award, “Farthest Drag”. There was an introduction before awarding, and it sounds really cheesy, all I can remember is that it is about “Crossing the oceans and mountains just to be with”.. hahaha 

This is the center part of the venue, and we got the chance to pose and take pics! 

Around 2400H, we went back to the barracks to change and so that we can go home! :)

Around 0200H we were in Cubao. Whew! So haggard and since both of our phones are low bat, we stayed at 7-11 to charge our phones. We had our initial plan to go to UP and visit Kiez and Darrel but too bad both of them were not around UP. So we had a back-up plan and that is to go UST, to Aimee’s place. We texted her but she did not replied so we called her, and luckily she woke up! hehe

So off to UST. We ate at Mcdo and made a little stroll at UST. 

<3 I Just love everything that happened. Even though I am so stressed out and haggard but I am really happy and enjoyed everything. It was fun from MAAP until going home. I cannot get over it, it is such a memory to keep and always  remember. :) <3

February 11, 2012 and February 12, 2012

It is 1:55 AM November 19, 2011. Doing nothing all awake a bit drowsy but my mind doesn’t feels like sleepy at all. Though I’ve been looking all through the pictures in my facebook account. You know looking back at the past(?) probably. It feels awkward that when I see a single photo a memory comes back. I do know every people experience such kind of feeling and emotion, and you don’t even notice it but you are smiling from that little memory that came back flashing into your mind. HAPPINESS. A sense of happiness. Yes, those  pictures and memories are things that make us smile in a very simple way. But we don’t realize is that the reason why we are smiling is really the people you were with during that simple memory from the past. 

I’ve been away from my family and friends for a long time, not long enough for me to be truly sad but long enough for me to miss them so bad. I am studying in a city while my province is so far away in the south. And those picture is my only way to take away my misery of missing them. (Hey I’m getting too emotional) haha!

HAPPINESS, happy. People have lots and lots of problems, worries and sorrows. And little did they know about happiness. Happiness is such a wonderful word anyone wishes to experience yet we people deprived ourselves from that certain happiness.

From a little “out of boredom” scrolling in my facebook account I realized I was one lucky b*tch to experience HAPPINESS in some little ways that I always fail to remember especially when I am super troubled with problems. I just found out I can escape from worries and sorrows by this little flash black and could actually help me achieve happiness now. I maybe far away from my loved ones but I am happy cause they are the reason why I was always happy.

Let’s not deprived ourselves from happiness. :) BE HAPPPY!

which is the So Nyuh Shi Dae or the Girl’s Generation. The Korean group is made up of nine (9) very beautiful and talented ladies namely Tiffany, Jessica, Sunny, Sooyoung, Yoona, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Seohyun and Taeyeon who the group leader.
